Monday night

Here I was worrying that I wasn't keeping up my end of the blog and it hasn't been very active anyhow!  Y'all must be very busy and I hope you all are well.

DonnaH~~Those roots can travel a long way, generally at least the span of the branches!  Having roots clog water pipes is not uncommon here.  My neighbor had a root from a tree follow their water pipe into their condo a few years ago.  The plumber had to go through the concrete block wall, concrete slab, and pull up the tile floor to fix it.  To top it off, they are snowbirds and were back in PA!  Thanks for the condolences on the loss of my friends; I appreciate it a lot.

You spoke of, gulp, frost and cleaning out your garden!  It's something that's not even in my vocabulary and I hope I never see here (but have).  The daytime temps are still in the lower 90's and nighttime lows are around 78, down from the 80's.  Thunderstorms are occurring daily, accompanied by high winds, fortunately no longer by tornadoes or waterspouts.  The tropics have become very active....

In a few weeks I'm going to Epcot for the day because a friend of mine from Reading is coming to Florida.  I haven't seen her in about ten years and this is the only way I can do it.  My neighbor said that he'd drive as I feel it'd be too much for me to drive there (2 hours each way) and walk around all day; besides, he's never been to Epcot believe it or not.  I told Kathy that if a hurricane was coming, I wasn't coming though!  Pray for no hurricanes!

I can't seem to catch up with my goal at Goodreads no matter how hard I try.  I read and read and read and still am 8% behind!  I've finished Stephanie Lauren's latest and have almost finished Grace Burrows' newest release.  I've also read Tawny Weber and Vicky Lewis Thompson double books, plus some really good Blazes.  Wonder if I'll make my goal?

Have a good week everyone!

Trudy
