Hi Everyone,

I praying for you ladies and your families who were in Sandy's path.  Mary...so glad to know you and your family are safe.  The images on t.v. were really scary.  I hope to see a post from Amanda and Trudy.  Cady and DonnaH too.  I think you two might have had some of the storm in your area as well?  I know a lot of the electricity is down in many areas so I hope all that gets fixed so we can hear from  everyone.

Sandi,  Congratulations on finding such an awesome sounding job.  That is so great.  San Mateo is is just a little bit over an hour away from me.  I will wave in that direction on Monday. I think the weather is suppose to be nice...or at least not rainy.  I think you said your brother is in the Santa Cruz area...maybe you will get to have time for a quick visit. Congratulations again!

DonnaM,  No, not me who mentioned The Last Lecture but it sounds interesting.  It is so nice to hear your grandson loves spending time with you.  You must be a great grandma.  It sounds like you two had a really nice day. I am not big on watching baseball on t.v. but I do like it and I did watch the Giants...woo hoo!   I agree with you on the violence.  It is just horrible but I really don't think those are fans.  I think those are just gang people who use anything as an excuse to destroy things.  Makes me sick.

We had a clear day on Halloween and the night was not chilly or windy so it was good for the kids. The rain waited until today but it was very light here and I think it will be clear tomorrow.  Gavin wore a tiger costume.  I was really surprised he left the head piece on at school and even while going out for treats.  He usually hates things on his head.  He only went one block but that was more then enough candy.  I don't remember if I mentioned it, but Gavin got his speech.  We are happy about that.  I've slowed down posting stuff on line this week because I was really busy but I started today and have a few people interested.  So I will keep it up as long as they want to buy.

I finished book three of the Donna Grant series.  There are six but I will not continue.  I had these three and the first one got my interest but the other two were kind of slow.  I only continued to read them because I didn't have anything else.  But now I have the new In Death. I've just started the first chapter and it sounds interesting.

Hope you all have a good and safe Friday.
Margie
