It's been so long since I've been here!  I bet you all thought I disappeared never to return!

Can't recall if I said whether or not everyone is in agreement that Richard is not the father of Ethan, Misty's new baby.  They  (Richard, Misty, and the boyfriend, Jerry) all signed a denial of paternity which states that Richard is not the father, and that Jerry is.  It's funny to me that it didn't have to be notarized or anything, but they consider it legal.

Donna, did you ever get the soft water fixed?  I totally understand about having to buy various fundraisers.  Luckily for me the kids are far enough apart that I didn't have to buy the same stuff at the same time.  Then they even went to different schools, and they did totally different fundraisers.

Donna, does Spring/Summer make for a busier or slower pet sitting time?  I'm going away hopefully in a couple of weeks, but since I'm going by myself with the Fresh Fiction team I don't have to worry about a pet sitter...I  have a house full of them!

Amanda, have they moved the mobil home that burned?  It's got to be so sad to pass by there and know what happened and who is no longer there.  A couple of weeks ago one of my coffee and donut friends passed away very suddenly.  The Saturday after he died (which was a Monday) a big truck just like his pulled in, and we all had a moment of look...here comes Charlie before we realized it just couldn't be.  Had another moment like that yesterday, and it did turn out to be his truck this time, but of course his wife was driving it.  She was taking it to get it cleaned up.  Not sure, but think she's going to start driving it, as I hear their daughter's car is rather dead, and so I think Pat might be giving her her car, and she'll drive the truck.

Mary I'm glad you liked Rebellion.  I did too.  Yes, it's historical, but it somewhat ties into I think her MacGregor series.  I don't read many historicals, but once in awhile I do, and have to say I enjoy them when I do.

Donna, interesting theory on the bathroom and the mold.  My bathrooms don't have windows either, and I like that!   I wonder which author was signing in Dallas.  I do attend several of them, but have gotten to the point where I don't attend as many as I used to...just not enough time!  I used to buy the book to be supportive, but now I only buy the book if I would read the author.  Your pictures continue to be awesome!  You are really talented.  Do you print any of them and frame them for your house?  Did you read that Catherine Anderson yet?  I've heard mixed things about it.  I'm really behind on that series.  Did you enjoy the Julie Ann Walker book?  That was her first and the fourth in the series is about to come out.

Trudy, that was great that you and Sharon's friend went out together.  I hope you can become friends.  I think it would be good for both of you.  I've heard a lot of good things about Logans, but we don't have one close to us.  I would love to try it sometime!  I got the Sheila Roberts book, but have a few I'm reading, and need to get done so it's going to have to wait!  I've read other things by her and have enjoyed them.

Donna, we went to see Mary Poppins on stage.  It was totally amazing!  I wanted to see Wicked, but couldn't get tickets for even two of us to sit together, so decided against it.  I should check again just in case they've released more tickets!  Yes, I read the Carr book a long time ago.  I'm anxiously awaiting the next one in that series.

Cady it's great to see you!  Did you go to Florida for spring break?  Did the entire family get to go?  Do the kids have summer plans?  Are they already starting to count down the days until school lets out?

Trudy, sorry to hear about the flooding in the basement.  Hopefully it won't happen again any time soon!  I was lucky and in the times that we had a basement we only had a flooding problem once, and that was when Mike lived there, and I hadn't moved in yet!  How fun to be learning to make jewelry.  I hope to learn to crochet.  We'll see how it goes!  Glad your son is feeling better!

Recruiting season is over.  Now to try to get some of the people who I met into the office and through the hiring process.  Last week I managed to get 6 people out into the world of work!  I hope they like it and do well.  I made some interesting contacts and also need to follow through on them.  I'm going to hit three local colleges next week that I wasn't able to hit because their job fairs conflicted with other job fairs in which I was already scheduled.

I've done some reading, but not much.  I finished a book by Molly O'Keefe which I enjoyed, but which the title keeps escaping me!   I read Fool For Love by Beth Ciotta.  Enjoyed that one too.  I'm listeing to the Rizzoli and Isles series by Tess Gerritsen.  I'm on the third book now.  They're fairly intense and I think I'll take a break before moving on.  I've listened to the first two books in the 50 Shades series, and I finally have the third audio from the library, so maybe I'll really switch it up and listen to that!

Right now I'm reading a book in ebook called Carolina Girl.  It's by Virginia Kantra and will be released soon in both e and print I'm sure.  I'm reading in print Whiskey Beach by Nora Roberts, and listening to the sinner by Gerritsen.

Hope everyone is doing well!  Talk to you soon I hope!

Sandi
