I know I posted last week; it's not there! I don't know what happened to it.  I'm sorry but I don't remember what I said either. :(

Cady~Happy Belated Birthday!  I hope you had a good day!

One thing I do remember about the missing post is Nora Roberts.  Rebellion is her only historical and is the prequel to the MacGregor series.  I've also read her MacKade Brothers series and really enjoyed them; it's based in the present but built on the ghosts of the Battle of Antiemn which took place not all that awful far from where I grew up in York, PA.

I just finished Stephanie Laurens' newest Cynster book Then She Fell, Henrettia's story.  At first I really didn't care for it but it did turn out to be a good book in true Lauren style.

Did anyone get a book from HQ to read?  Yesterday I received Sheila Roberts' Better Than Chocolate from them to read and review.  It's not my usual genre but I think I'll enjoy it.  Good thing I just finished the Laurens book.

It finally warmed up here.  Last week we set an all-time record low high of 58 degrees!  By any standard that's cold for Florida.  My electric bill came yesterday and I used on average 12 kwh/day more last month than I did in the same time last year! :(  I'm still using my flannel sheets but probably will put them away this month.

I went out to eat with the best friend of my deceased friend Sharon for Easter.  Lee is so broken up by her passing and neither of us have family here.  We went to Logan's Road House, a chain of steak restaurants on the East coast similar to Cody's.  They have really good steaks.  It was really nice and I could talk to someone about Sharon who understands and so could Lee.

It's raining here today.  There was a tornado watch a little while ago for South Florida.  Worse storms are expected later as a front comes in from the Gulf.  We really need the rain; it's our dry season.
