Happy Wednesday to everyone.  My day has started out odd, left my purse at home.  Luckily, I am only working a half day as I have to go back to work tonight for a couple of hours, but still bothers me not having it - have a 40 minute drive home, will definately be driving slowly.

Margie - So when are you having your garage sale?  With our weather, most of the sales are about done, by November you rarely see any.  As for the Bubbles, Maggie did say they felt hard to breathe in and that they were super hot.  Not my cup of tea, but she did it a couple of times since it was free.

Sandi - Glad to hear that a Perfect Hope was a good book.  I thought the first two were okay, but didn't love either, so am hoping this one grabs me.  As for Dream Lake, I really enjoyed it, but like you, I thought Rainshadow Road was a better book.  I hope things go well with Richard and Elijah moving in.  I imagine it will keep you on your toes having a young one there.  Of course, you are more use to young ones with your job, which I am sure will help.

DonnaM - Cat sitting again.  It seems like you are doing more petsitting again, does it go in streaks like that?  Do you ever really feel comfortable in their homes or do you feel like you have to be really conscious of what you do?  I hope the job goes well.

Trudy - Glad to hear that the attorney is getting started on your legal work.  I hope it all goes smoothly.

Mary - I am glad the situations with the IRS and Don are getting better.  The IRS scares me I must admit.  I did enjoy Heron's Cove and am looking forward to other books in the series.  I am hoping that we will learn more about all the brothers.  The dress for Lauren sounds really cute.  I bet she will love it.

Amanda - Cool picture of the monster.  It sounds like you had a good time.

Things here have been good.  Mags went to a bday party on the weekend and Luke a playdate - not at the same time, but at least they both got out of the house.  Maggie who just started getting grades this year (the school doesn't do grades until 4th, not sure why) had done great in her first couple rounds of tests and then had some bad reading scores.  The only good thing is conferences are this week so I can talk to her teacher.  She struggled with reading in first grade, so I don't want to just hear - have her read - I am hoping for better strategies so we can nip this in the bud.  She likes to read, but at times she does struggle with comprehension and her spelling is horrible, so conferences should be interesting.  Not much else happening here.

Did read one book

The Lady Risks AllI really enjoyed it.  One of the best SL books I had read in a while - some of her recent books felt like a rehash, this one felt very fresh.

Not sure what I am going to read next, have become addicted to playing cards on my iPad, so haven't been reading as much.   Hope everyone has a good hump day.

Cady
