Saturday afternoon, 10/13/2012...

Good Afternoon Everyone,

The picture above is of my daughter taking pictures.  We are still on Pier 39!  We both took a lot of pictures but we really weren't there that long!  Her pictures a wonderful, but I may be a bit biased!!

There is not that much new since I posted yesterday.  I did go to Farmer's Market this morning but opted to leave the camera at home.  Wish I had taken it as one of my favorite vendors had a wonderful display of pumpkins & gourds.  Farmer's Market is winding down some but won't end for awhile.  November ends up being mostly crafts.  There are always some beautiful things on display then.  It is over Thanksgiving weekend until next spring.  There are others that go after that but it is more of a chore to get to other towns!!  Mostly because I do not hurry around on Saturday & Sunday!!

Donna H, I am so glad you were able to post a picture.  Thanks for sharing that with us.  I missed you while you were gone.  Good luck with the town shopping function.  Did the birthday get together go okay?  How nice that your daughter & her husband are finally going to get the issue settled with their house.  Why can't banks admit they screw up, then fix whatever it is they did wrong?  Congratulations on the new baby girl in the family.  I was probably in labor close to 21 hours with my first if you are counting from the first twinges.  With the first one you are not quite sure if it is the very early stages or maybe something else.  I had had false labor about a week before so I wasn't quick to say "this is it!".

I'm going to go eat my Moose Tracks ice cream now!  A small indulgence as it is in an individual serving!

Here is another picture taken from Pier 39.  This is a Liberty Ship, the Jeremiah O'Brien docked in San Francisco.  It is a decommissioned ship used as a floating museum but does some times go on an excursion.  A group has done a lot of restoration on to get it in working order.  I think it would be fun to go on a sail but it probably costs more than I can spend on such frivolity!  Yes, that is the Golden Gate in the background.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.  Happy reading,
Donna M
