I read all the messages but I didn't take any notes...sorry!
We have finally cooled down. It started on Saturday, and this morning was really cold! Right now it's really pretty outside, and so I'm letting the teachers and kids break the rules and spend a long time outside. We don't get a lot of days like this where the weather is near perfect!
Saturday while I was hanging with my coffee and donut friends Brian called. His car woudln't start. I rushed home to take him mine as he had bowling, and called to get his jumped. Fortuantely it did turn out to just be the battery, and we were able to switch cars between his two bowling sessions of the day. Unfortuantely he forgot that he left his stuff in my car, and I had to run it to him, and that was a hour away! By the time I got home Richard and Elijah were there. Richard has finally given up the apartment and will be living with us until he a) gets a job, and b) saves enough to move out on his own.
Sunday I did the grocery shopping, and bought a few movies. Brian had been wanting The Avengers, and I knew Mike would want Dark Shadows, and I splurged and bought myself Cinderella. I also went to bowling again for a bit, and wandered the furniture stores as they're having great sales, but just didn't see the pieces I really want!
I also did some reading. I read The Perfect Hope which is the last book in the trilogy by Nora Roberts. It comes out next month, and Fresh Fiction got a copy, so they let me read it before it went to the reviewer. It was so good. I read it basically in 2 days! Because of the chatter here I've been reading Dream Lake. I'm almost halfway through, and am enjoying it, but I think I like Rainshadow Road better. We'll see when I'm done. I'm also reading Don't Cry For Me by Sharon Sala it's book two in one of her trilogies. Listening to The Great Escape by Susan Elizabeth Phillips.
Forgot to mention that this morning I had car issues. It was my tire pressure light, and the tire place was very nice and put air in my tires and didn't charge me. They suggested I bring it in about once a month to check. Wan't that sweet?
I hope everyone has a great week!
Sandi
