Ah! Band Oranges!!!

Tried a new font.  Seems very similar to the one I usually use, but maybe a little smaller.  I don't know if that's good or bad.

Trudy, I wouldn't dump you just because we think differently politically.  My policy is if they're no good they'll eventually shoot themselves in the foot.

Remind me not to pick up Nora's Rebellion.  As I'm sure I've said before, I don't care for historicals.  Is Stormy Weather a non-fiction book?  I'm usually looking for light and fun in a book.  Even the suspense books I read are not real dark.

Sandi, we've still got hard water.  *Sigh*  The guy said he was coming back Fri evening.  Haven't seen him yet, nor had a phone call. . .

I'm guessing you like historicals?  If we all liked/disliked the same things this world would be a very boring place.

Um, would Richard by chance be Misty's new baby's father?  Just because they're apart. . . you know, and all that. . .

Oh my gosh!  Over 100,000 miles on one set of brakes!  I'd say they sure don't owe you any money. . .  {;-)

It warmed up to -12 here today.  I am SO sick of cold!!!  Trudy, I'll trade you your +60 any day of the week!  Your +60 degrees F is approximately equal to our +15 degrees C.  0 degrees F = -18 degrees C.  Ticks me off that they got rid of the little "o" that we used to have on our old typewriters. . .

Sandi, I might have read more books than you, but don't forget, I can read while Hardy drives -- I can read when we spend the day in town babysitting -- I can read when. . .  and I don't have a full-time job, either, so I can read all day if I choose to.  Yes, I've been getting in some painting and quilting lately, but I can only do those things a couple hours/day and then my hands or my back gives out and I need to stop for a while (to read, of course)  {:-)

Margie, no soft water yet, and we don't drink our tap water either -- well, sort of -- we have a filter system besides the softener.  Sort of like a Brita, but under the sink with it's own tap.

I thought I had read Nora's MacGregor series, but if it's an historical, I guess I didn't.  Ah!  Just went and looked.  The series I was thinking of was the McKades.  Just loved those boys, er, men. . .

I do not envy you guys your taxes.  Ours, thank goodness, are simple enough that I can do them myself, plus I purchased a program that I can get updates for every year that pretty much does everything I need it to do -- tells me where to put my numbers, etc.  And when I'm done I just email them in, and a week or so later any $$ they owe me is in my account.  (It's been over 15 years since I owed them any).

Well, my clock chimed midnight quite a while ago, and it's getting rather chilly in here, so I'd better head off to bed.  {:-)  Somehow, this seems to be about my regular time here.
