Friday night already!

Greetings from sunny, and cold, Florida!  March has been colder than January!  We had 80 degree temps in Jan. and 50 degree temps this month!  Go figure! :(  I'm so ready for warm weather!  Tomorrow I have to help with the Armadillo Run, a race; I signed up for the late shift, 9-11 a.m.  I don't know what to wear: sweatshirt, jeans and sneakers or tee shirt, shorts and sandals; maybe a combination of both.  The high will be 74 and to my FL blood, that's not warm.

Taxes are done; I owe the IRS again. :(  He says it's b/c my mortgage interest is shrinking.  I also submitted the paperwork to get my Senior discount and got it.  I called MOHELA, my student loan people, and submitted paperwork to have it discharged due to my disability; it's at the Dept. of Ed but apparently, not everybody knows that as I just got another email asking for $500+ in May. :(

I've been reading and posting a lot in Goodreads as some of you may know since you're on it too.  I just finished Sabrina Jeffries' reissue By Love Unveiled  which just came out.  It takes place in King Charles court and is very good although it's a little slow getting started.  It would help if you know a some history of Cromwell and the Roundheads too.

Mary~~I feel for you with your teeth!  I had all mine done at one time many years ago and it was no fun, I'll tell you especially when one became a dry socket.  Glad that the antibiotics are working.  I was watching Whitfield ES on Weatherbug and I could see that the storm essentially missed you which is good.  Reading hasn't had much snow this year, right?

Donna~~Thank you for the pic of the daffodils tonight!  Can't grow them here.  Even after 23 years, I still miss the Spring flowers!

Anyone catch Celtic Thunder on PBS this month?  What did you think of their new show Mythology?  Everyone I've talked to is raving about it, even people who aren't familiar with them.  I, of course, bought the Deluxe version which has some of the best songs included like House of the Rising Sun and Sound of Silence.  I'm really bummed that they didn't come here this year to do a promo so if you get to see any of them live on PBS, tell them I said Hi.

I intend to go to a 2-day street festival next weekend for St. Patrick's Day at an Irish Pub.  What are all of you doing?

Trudy
