Hi Ladies

I tried posting the other day but I got interrupted when Gavin walked in (about midnight) crying due to an ear infection. My sister was getting some pain reliever and he was not too happy about it.  Took him to the doctor the next day and he was given antibiotics.  He's doing really well now.

Cady, Mary & DonnaM, I hope you both are doing well.

DonnaH,  How nice to have your water softener back.  We have hard water here and no softener.  I just can't afford to put one in.  Still the water is ok...or we are used to it...I just don't want to drink it so I fill jugs at the supermarket.  I totally get it about being up and just about falling asleep on the computer or with my books....just go to bed! LOL

Amanda,  It's  been a while since I've read an Intrigue.  Last one was Julie Miller who I know you like too.  What Intrigue are you reading?

Trudy,  Nora is one of the first romance authors I ever read and I still love her books.  Glad you enjoyed Rebellion. I loved the entire MacGregor series.

Sandi,  Happy Belated Birthday to Elijah.  Wow, two already.  It goes by so fast.  I can understand how that could be uncomfortable with the other side of Elijah's family there.  I was just talking to my sister today because we have to figure out how we want to do our taxes regarding the house.  We need to get to the tax person soon to just get it over with.  Hope you get yours back without issues.  Glad your review was as you hoped.

I read a Diana Palmer ebook from the library.  I hadn't read one by her in quite a while.  I was frustrated by the H. Which I often am in her books.  He wants her but doesn't want her.  I really like her older ones better but I still keep picking one up every now and then.

I also read a free Kindle book by a new to me author, EC Sheedy.  The h became a mom at the young age of 14 so she pretty much grew up with her son.  The H is a single dad with a very young daughter.  The h/H have a huge attraction but she doesn't want a relationship.  She is ready to finally follow some dreams now that her son is off to college.  She is torn by her feelings but she is afraid to miss out on her dreams and she doesn't want to be a mom again right now.  It was a very sweet story and I enjoyed it a lot.  I checked this author out and it looks like she writes a lot of romantic suspense so I will have to check one of those out.

I just started the new J.D. Robb, Calculated in Death.  Good so far.
Have a good week.
Margie
