Hi Ladies!
Been a couple weeks since I've popped in - how time flies!
Trudy -- How is the new phone/internet going? I see Verizon hasn't changed. I had an issue years ago that they refused to help with, so I told them they could take their company and shove it. This was my landline. Haven't had a landline since.
DonnaH -- I love to get family pictures done. Unfortunately, no one else in the family agrees. Love your description of your niece's hubby. Its always nice to receive them. Sorry gas prices suck for you. I realized we put out $350 in less than a month for gas (price today is $3.60/gal). UGH.
Mary -- Hasn't the weather been crazy? Snow last week, which I was surprised to see by the way, that my girls didn't think I should be told. I open the door to a couple inches on the car that I was totally not expecting. And David wiped it off when he left a couple hours earlier. The weekend was beautiful. Too bad it won't be as nice this weekend. Glad you are feeling better. The girls and I were at the dentist two weeks ago. Aurora might have gum disease. This is because she doesn't believe in brushing, so now I have to stand and watch her. Really? She is almost 16. I don't know why I can't get the personal hygiene message thru to her. I had what I thought was one cavity, but ended up being two, filled (this was a second filling, as it was filled a million years ago). Finally doesn't hurt to eat on that side. I just don't remember filled teeth hurting for a week afterward (and I've had them all filled).
Donna -- Love the pictures. I would love to see some flowers blooming, but still too cold. And leaves on the trees would be nice. The flower show was in town last week, but I didn't go. Had a coworker who did, so I'm waiting for her to bring pics in. Will be interested to see if you buy a laptop or tablet.
Sandi -- So how did your review go? Hopefully great. And the bowling tournament in Houston? Were you able to meet with your coworkers? How did Brian do?
Margie -- Glad you enjoyed 50 Shades of Gray. My book club read was nothing like that, for sure. Erotica was definitely the term for it. Enjoy your warm weather for me. I would love to see some of it:)
Haven't read much, just the two books for book club, which was last night. Had a great time. Next months read is Low Pressure by Sandra Brown. Love her stuff, so figuring this should be good. Anybody already read this yet? I am reading an Intrigue. Its a 3-in-1 about 3 brothers and their missing half-sister. Finished the first story, which was good. My kind of Hero:-)
Ok, need to get ready and go to bed. Thank god it is Friday! It never gets here soon enough - lol!
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Amanda
