Hi everyone!
It has been a few days since I came here to even read posts! Shame on me. I have been busy sewing. I made skirt for Lauren for Easter. It just needs the waistband done and it is finished. I have been catching up on house stuff that got put aside because of the teeth issues and stomach flu. I am still not done but will get there. I have been reading. I finished the second Night Tales book--Night Shadow. It was a good read but not as good as Night Shift. I read A Poisoned Season by Tasha Alexander over the last week. It was very good--part of her Lady Ashton historical mystery series. I am now reading Hotshot by Catherine Mann. It is ok so far, not as good as her books usually are but might get better. We got some snow today--about 3 inches. It is supposed to get a little warmer so it should melt soon. I am so ready for spring to really be here!
Amanda--that is a shame about that mobile home. I hope our weather warms up before the Phils first home game. Not sure when it is. Hershey is about 1&1/2 hours from my place. I love Hershey. When we were first married we lived in the Harrisburg area and my first teaching job was in the Hershey schools. Karen was born at Hershey Medical Center. We had planned to buy a home in Hershey but Don got transferred soon after and we moved out to western PA. It is a great place to visit. Good luck with the blood. I have hard to find veins myself so I feel your frustration.
Sandi--happy belated 2nd birthday to Elijah. That would be awkward but of course you do what you must for your grandson.
Donna M--I love your latest picture. Come back again soon.
Donna H--I hear you about TSTL heroines. I feel that often the author has the h do stupid things to up the danger but I feel that is a cop-out. I try to stay away from those authors.
Margie--Hi! Hope all is well with you and your family.
Cady--you haven't been here for a while. I hope all is well with you and your family.
Trudy--I loved Rebellion! I didn't even know Nora had written any historicals until I found this book by accident. I have not read any of the MacGregor books but I have some in my tbr piles.
Well, I hope everyone is having a good week!
Mary
