Saturday

Trudy, I'm sorry you're still trying to deal with mold issues.  While mold is never good, I don't know that it's as bad as they were claiming years ago.  We had mold in our laundry room from the washer backing up, and hadn't a clue until we got the new flooring and they had to pull the washer and baseboards in order to do that.  Fortunately the mold wasn't bad and they were able to replace the rotten boards and drywall in a day.  Have you gotten the new washer?  Are you getting an Energy Star one?  I have eto say I love mine!  Front loader or top?

Margie, Maya Banks was here to do a signing for her book Rush.  She did an interview with Gwen Reyes and then had a Q and A.  It was really fun.  Afterwards we were able to go to dinner with her.  It was at an Irish Pub near the venue where the signing was held.  THere was a parking garage and while we could get out of the garage to get to the venue, we had issues getting back the same way!  It was a lot of stair climbing and walking and with me still feeling the after effects of the extraction I was really glad to be home!  As much as I didn't want to I took a pain pill and went to bed.

Margie, those jump places are cool!  They pretty much only allow 2 hours at a time I think.  Is there one present that Gavin got that hes' drawn more to than another? Elijah's birthday is coming and I think I'm going to get him some CARS Duplos.  I got him a set or two for Christmas and he loves them, so going to add more to it I think is a great idea.  Did you ever manage to get to the library for the Krentz?

Donna, my mouth is still a little tender, and it's been two weeks!  I think it just takes some time to heal.  I can't really chew on that side yet, and it feels a bit swollen, but yes, for the most part I'm doing good.  Brian had his all out at once, and Richard needs to have some removed.  I don't know if he'll do it all at once or not, but I know one needs to come out for sure.

My coworker who took a transfer to San Deigo said gas was over $4.50 when I talked to her a week or so ago.  She has a large SUV and is seriously considering something smaller.  I think she might be regretting the move as her house costs more, and now gas and everything else!

Donna, my mom used to tell me she was young enough to have a baby but too old to have a teenager!  I think my oldest nephew might have just recently turned 40.  I lose track of how old he actually is.  I only know how old the youngest nephew is because my sister was pregnant with him the summer Mike and I got married, and he was born a couple of months later.  Were you able to celebrate with your daughter?  I can't remember if she lives near you or not.

Amanda, I'm so impressed you can keep up with the book club reads.  I attempt to with mine, but I never make it!  My book club has branched out into several branches, and that also makes it challenging to keep it up because each branch reads different books!

Trudy, I thought I had everything I needed for my CPA, but she called me and said I forgot a bunch of stuff.  Attempting to find it all is going to be a challenge I think.  Good luck with yours!  Have you ever heard anything from Verizon about the mixup?  Glad you're able to distract yourself with some entertaining reads.

Margie have you ever read 50 Shades before?  I downloaded the audio, and just recently was finally able to get the second in audio.  I'm listening to that now.  Were you happy with the winners of the Oscars?  I didn't watch the show, and now that I think about it I need to see if I can find the in memoriam.  That's the only part I like.

Mary, how is your mouth now?  They didn't give you any painkillers?  They gave me an antibotic and painkillers.  I took the painkillers the first day, and the second night, but than switched to Advil.  Hope you're doing well now.  Are you getting a bridge?

Richard and I went to San Antonio last weekend for a bowling tournament.  He didn't want me to attend the acutal tournament so I bought some spring clothes for work.  Then went back to the hotel and did some Fresh Ficiton work.  This next weekend Brian and I are going to Houston for a tournament.  I'm hoping to meet some of my coworkers in Houston.

I have been listening to audios and doing a bit of reading.  At the moment I can't really think of what!  I did read the new Kristin Hannah that will release in April.  It was ok, but not as good as some of the others I've read.  I also read the upcoming Susan Wiggs which was different than what I was expecting, but interesting.  I'm currently reading a book called Death, Taxes, and A French Manicure by Diane Kelly.  The heroine is a special agent for the IRS.  What a timely read!

Monday I have my first work review since I started.  We'll see how that goes.

Time to fold some more laundry and get back to cleaning.  It seems like forever since I was home to do any of that, and I need to get to it!
