Sunday

Margie, the work review went the way I hoped it would.   I did get it into trouble twice after the review, but I think things are smoothing out.  I have been feeling a bit stressed over these issues, and my back has been working and I don't know if it's stress or something else.  I think every kid likes DUPLOS, of course some more than others, but it's totally a toy that I can't think of any kid I know not having owned!

Mary, this was the second time I've had a tooth pulled.  The first one was many years ago, and they didn't do a bridge because it was a back tooth, and it would have bridged to a wisdom tooth, and they don't do that.  This one was a wisdom tooth.  I think it took about 2 weeks before I felt like I wasn't sore and hurting.  Still not really eating on that side, but getting closer!  Glad you enjoyed JAK.  I'm totally behind on her!  I just finished listening to the second book in the Fifty Shades series.

Donna, you're right the sorrell looks just like shamrocks!  That's what I thought they were until I started reading your post.  Glad to hear your cholosterol is going the right way, and YAY to celebrating with a sticky bun!  If you like books with special ops, and things of that nature, I have a recommendation.  I read Night Is Mine by ML Buchman.  I really enjoyed it, and it's part of a series.  I don't normally like this type of story, but this one I really enjoyed, and the twist was one I never really saw coming!  It's an interesting book because the heroine is an elite helicopter pilot, and the author is male.

Trudy, I hope you had fun at the festival.  I took my taxes in about a month ago, and there have been some issues in getting them done.  I finally found the one thing that she needs, and Mike is supposed to work on the other this weekend, so I hope to have her all her info this week.  A friend who uses the same CPA that I do has hers back already, and I usually beat her!  Oh well.

Donna, 50 books and it's only March!  I can't imagine.  Especially with all the other things you do!  I'm jealous!  I thought I was doing good at about 23 combined read and audio!  www.goodreads.com  It's a site you can do a lot of different things at.  I primarily use it to track my books that I've read for the year.  It only seems fair to me that the Culligan Man only charged one service trip fee...afterall it's not your fault he didn't have the part to fix it.

Amanda, the tournament in Houston went as poorly as I expected.  I don't know what it is about this particular tournament, but my boys never seemed to do well at it.  The good thing is that since this is Brian's last year as a youth I never have to go again!  I got to meet one coworker, but not the other as she ended up having to help a friend with a business thing.  Turns out the friend has some sort of boutique, and it was a slow day, and Bevererly I don't think will be jumping to the front to help again any time soon!  I can't believe your book club is reading Low Pressure.  Isn't it still in hardcover?  All of my book clubs will only read paperbacks.  It's a stretch to even read a trade.  We try to make it an inexpsenive book, so if people want to buy it they aren't hurting their budgets.  I did like Low Pressure.  I listened to it.  Can't wait to see what you think of it.

Mary, I know when I get a filling sometimes it hurts a bit after, and the dentist tells me it's quite normal.  I'm not sure how long it hurts, but maybe the next time I'll track it!
Donna and Amanda, glad you guys like the Intrigue Line.  I read a couple a long time ago and didn't really like eithe,r so I haven't read any more.  I should check a couple out sometime as I know there are a lot of different authors writing them than there used to be.

Donna sorry you got a Carr book you weren't interested in.  I don't know if I have that one in my Kindle or not.  I'm going to have to check!  I bought a bunch of them because they were Carr, and cheap!  Ok..just checked, and this title isn't availabe for the Kindle yet, so I've added it to my wishlist.  I have a friend who loves to go "trashing" for old books.   I might have to tell her about this one and see if she can find it for me.

Yesterday we went to Elijah's second birthday party.  It was a bit uncomfortable because we really have nothing in common with Misty's family and friends.  Got to see her new baby in person, and he looks quite a bit like Elijah, but with a head that somewhat reminds me of an owl head in its shape.  I know that isn't really nice but it's totally true!  After the party we went to a new outlet mall that was on the way home.

I liked the way the mall was shaped, but there weren't really any stores there that I would make a special trip there for.  We have another outlet mall about the same distance away that I like much better, and if I can I would like to go today, but a nap also sounds good!

This week one of the book clubs meets, and I'm in charge of dessert.  I have ordered a cake from the local bakery.  I hope it's as good as the last one I got!  I have to Easter eggs for Elijah for the daycare.  I forgot to get them at the grocery this morning.

Yesterday along with attending the party for Elijah, I also played the role of adoring wife, and got new tires and brakes on Mike's car.  He thought it was front brakes he needed, and that bothered me as the front brakes I know aren't that old, but it turned out he needed new back brakes, and those are original and at 117300 miles, so can't complain too much!

Hope everyone has a great week!

Sandi
