Friday afternoon

Hi everyone!

It got a little busier in here the past several days. Glad to see it. I have been enjoying my time off from dental work. Last Friday Don, Karen and I took the kids to the Reading Public Museum to see the Legos exhibit. It was pretty cool. The kids liked the hands on stuff the most. They had three Legos tables set up and billions of legos to build whatever you wanted. They also had a computer program set up for building a castle. Jake really liked that. Afterwards we went to Olive Garden one of the fam's favorite restaurants. I have spent this week catching up with some things I had put off doing. I did get some reading done as well. I finished Buried in a Bog and enjoyed it. Then I read The Surrender of Miss Fairbourne by Madeline Hunter. It was really a good read. I can't say whether I have ever read any of her historicals but I will probably read more. I am now reading an older Nora book from the 1990s--Night Shift. This is one of the Night Tales books she wrote for Silhouette. You can tell it is early Nora but is still good. I have been going to the library for my volunteering and it has been busy which is a good thing.

Donna H--good to see you here. When I first joined Goodreads I just typed in goodreads.com and signed up. I know you can sign-in through Facebook and Google. I now go through Google Chrome which makes it easier for me. You can just list your books and/or rate them or rate them and write a review. You can friend people on there. It is fun and there are groups you can join and other activites. I am still learning what all there is to do on there.

Donna M--enjoyed the flower pictures. Ours should be blooming soon here.

Margie--I like Dream Eyes as well. Cindy Gerard books are fast reads and very good.

Trudy--no we have not had a lot of snow this year but we have had more cold days than last winter. It is cold again today after some nicer weather a few days ago.

Amanda--good to see you here too. The weather has been crazy. Now it is cold again. I agree with you about the dental work. When I was younger I don't remember fillings hurting so much. I am still eating mostly on one side because I have a temp. cap that covers four teeth.

Sandi and Cady--I hope you guys are doing well. I am getting your updates on Goodreads so I know you have been reading.

I hope everyone has a good weekend and happy St. Patty's Day!

Mary
