Almost over . . .

So, its almost midnight here . . .

Donna -- Thanks a bunch for the birthday "flowers"!  My work day sucked (booooo) but this evening was ok.  I did talk David into taking my out for dessert after dropping Amelia off at her dance class:-)  It was delicious!  Also, my Aunt Judy called to say she was mailing a check to me tomorrow for the rest of my inheritance from Grandmom - and said how did it feel turning 34 - lol!  So, I'm going to pay off a bill and then use some to visit NYC in two weeks.  David was going to surprise me and just go yesterday, but Amelia told me Friday night (his fault - he didn't tell her it was a secret).  Better for me this way, as I can plan an itinerary (he didn't) and I will have MLK off so I won't have to go to work the following day.  Always a plus!

Trudy -- Cool that you still have Santa after 38 years.  I have some Xmas things too, but nothing outdoors that blows up.  I did just buy a new Snoopy for outside.  I wonder if it will last that long?  Nice that you won some new books too!  You can never have too many Xmas (or New Years) gifts, I say:)

I see its been quiet in here.  Everyone must be recovering from the holidays.  I haven't started another book since finishing the one for book club this week.  Still have to come up with questions for it and find some books to put in the hat for the next book (true crime).  Hopefully whatever book is picked won't be too hard for me to get thru.  There is some nasty crimes out there.

Ok, guess its off to bed.  Wake up time will be here too soon.  Is it the weekend yet? Lol
