Tuesday evening

Hi everyone!

Trudy--We got  an automated call this morning from the Spr.Twp. PD saying there had been an incident, the victim was hospitalized and the other student taken into custody. They also mentioned no guns were involved but did not say it was a stabbing. I checked online and learned it was a stabbing. On WFMZ news I missed some of the report but they did say they locked down the school right away and then when parents started arriving they sent all the students home. Karen attended this school many years ago when it was a junior high. Never thought something like this would happen but glad they had a plan in place. If I hear anymore details I will pass them along to you.

Cady--glad you stopped in. Hope you have a nice long weekend. We don't have dental insurance but the new dentist offers a plan you can buy that helps some. I start my appointments next week. I have minimal interest in the playoffs this year cause my team isn't in them but I will watch the championship games on Sunday. The books I read by Anne Perry were part of her Thomas Pitt series and they were ok. Don't know that I would read anymore of them right now. It's good to know Nora is working on a new trilogy. I look forward to her new stand alone in April. Those are my favorites of her books.

Today I went to the license photo center to get a new photo. In PA we have to do this every four years. It is a pain in the butt. In most counties there is only one center and it is usually crowded and a long wait because they also give the tests for getting your permit there and the driving tests. Luckily, I didn't have a long wait. I was in line between a guy who was in need of a bath and one who's every other word was the "F" word. Glad that is over for another 4 years! :-(

I am still reading Bare Bones. Got into watching tv again as the shows are returning after the holidays. Tomorrow is library day. We have been busy there with new orders to be processed and weeding. We do weeding in January--getting rid of books that have not gone out for several years or duplicates.

Hope you are all having a good week.

Mary
