New Year's night

Happy New Year's Ladies!

So above is a pic of my cat Tigger (on our new sofa).  I was playing with my new camera - finally.  Almost as much of a challenge to download on here - ugh.  For a non-cheap camera, it really should have come with a plug to put in the computer (it came with one to plug into an outlet).  So I discovered that my kindle plug in works with it - yeah me!!

Trudy -- No doubt you were glad to see 2012 leave.  I really hope this year is better for you.  We did not have a white Christmas - but a short white Christmas eve - lol - until it changed to rain.  Amelia was hoping for it though.

Sandi -- I use to listen to audios at work and miss that I can't (well I could but I get interrupted/on phone to much for it to do me any good).  Like Donna, I started keeping track of what I read in June of 2003 - I believe on a discussion where you said you started doing it (or had recently).   I can't believe I've been doing it that long already.  Where does the time go?  I only read 35 books this year - a bad year for sure.  Will try to improve on that for this year.

Cady -- Great to see you check in.  Glad you had a good Christmas despite being sick.  Everyone I know seems to be and now I'm getting a cold - ugh - just in time to go back to work.  Hope you had a great NYE party/sleepover.

Donna -- See?  I finally tried it out - lol!  Be awhile before my pics look like yours though.  I think the feature I like best so far is that you can do a panoramic picture - very cool.  Love your pics, as always, and want to come visit as a result.  One of these days . . .

Can't believe I have to go back to work tomorrow:(  At least it is a short week.  I did start my book club book - A Girl, A Guy and A Ghost (Patricia Mason, I think).  Just over half-way thru it and its cute.  Should have it done by the weekend.  We went to my gf Jackie's parents house for NYE.  She was sick over Christmas and wasn't up for making dinner, so her mom's house it was (they live 2 min apart).  We went minus Amelia as she was at her gf's dads house (around the corner from we were ironically).  We had a good time and was home by 1 am.  Quite a few people on the road coming home too.

One more pic.  The panoramic view I mentioned (this is my living room).  I think its pretty cool.  Too bad it doesn't show up bigger on here:(
