Wed night

Hi Ladies!

I did make it to NYC on Sunday - yeah me!  The picture is from the Observation tower at the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Plaza.  Its on the 67th floor (which only takes 43 seconds to get to on the elevator).  It was really windy, which was ashame, because it was a decent day temp wise (low 40's).  The wind made it really cold at times though.   Had a really good time.  Took a bus tour, went to TotR and Madame Toussaud's Wax Museum.  You start on the top floor there and the elevator is on the outside of the building next to the MT sign (I did not realize that).  Lets say I didn't look down much.  There was a worker whose job is to run the elevator and its not a job I would want - lol.  Had a great time, but next time, unless I'm going to just see a show, it will be in warmer weather.

Happy early birthday to Mary and DonnaH!!!!  Hope you have great days (even if it snows).

Mary -  Well, do you feel like we are in a deep freeze this week?  Ugh.  I don't like it.  Hopefully next week will be better.  What movie are you thinking of seeing for your b'day?  I thought it was odd when you said to get your driver photo people also take the tests there, when I just go to a photo place.  Then I remembered that state police location is next to Neshaminy Mall, and that's where all the testing is done (I pass the exit for it every day to and from work).

DonnaH -  Sorry about all the bad news:(  Glad to see you back though.  How is your missing tooth feeling?  Unfortunately, the $269 would be cheap for us.  Its outrageous what dentist charge.  A routine check up is over $100.  Getting a tooth pulled is probably similar in price, but you got an "extraction", which cost more every time.  Total rip off is what I always think.   What will you be doing for your birthday?  Glad that you invited Bren to join.  Miss seeing her.

Cady -  Sorry about losing an employee.  I can totally relate to the extra work.  Hopefully they will hire someone in the summer for you.  I guess at -2 there, I shouldn't complain about 20 here (not incl the wind chill - sigh).  Staying inside is definitely what I prefer to do in this weather.

Sandi - Wow, Brian is going to be 21?  I'm with you on the scary part.  Of course, Aurora will be 16 in May.  Where does the time go?

DonnaM - As always, love the pics.  Sorry about your friends loss.  Cat sitting is good though.  If you don't like the temps there, don't come out here.  Its a mite chilly this way.  Yeah for the 49ers.  Use to be David's fav team when Joe M. was playing.  Can't say I'm a big Ravens fan, so it looks like I'll be on your side for the Superbowl.

Trudy - I will keep Sharon in my thoughts.  She's a strong lady.  Glad you are able to spend a lot of time with her.  I'm sure that helps keep her going.  Sorry about your gs school.  Council Rock almost had a scare, but they discovered it before it happened (a boy was going to bring guns to school - they found 3 in his bedroom).  My gf's oldest is at the same high school and they got an auto call at midnight to tell them no school the next day but didn't go into detail.  She was in a panic.  Did you here about the girl in West Chester that was taken right out of class?  Luckily she was found the next morning (she's in kindergarten).  It really is scary out there.

I am sure I forgot a few things, since I didn't take notes.  Now off to bed as tomorrow is another day unfortunately.  Ran the entire weekend, so I'm feeling it this week.  Thank god the main boss man is visiting our Florida offices this week.  Its been quiet - and cold.  They need to turn the heat up!

One last picture of NY.  Thought the panorama was great for up there.

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

Amanda
