Weather?

There were some pictures of our town on the weather network this afternoon, taken yesterday.  Blizzard conditions.  And we were out in it.  Not fun!

Yesterday was the funeral of our friend.  What a sad funeral, and totally different from any others I've ever been at.  So hopeless.  My aunt is being cremated -- mostly, I think, because her memorial service won't be held until her son gets out of the hospital and they can't wait that long if you have a regular funeral with a casket.  He (my cousin) was working way up north in the oil fields when his appendix ruptured.  They medi-vaced him to the nearest hospital, which happened to be Fort MacMurray.  We have no idea how long he'll be in there.

He also surprised us by bringing home a bride just before Christmas, which I didn't find out about until Wed. when I spoke with my mom on the phone.  She was in Japan, but has now flown up to Ft. M. to be with him.

Thanks again, Donna, for the info on how to tell Bren how to get here.  I didn't find a green box with a lock, but I did finally find the address (I hope)

Trudy, sounds like you still need some {{{{HUGS}}}}.  Continuing to pray for Sharon.

Oh gosh, look at the time. . . 1:10 a.m.  No wonder my eyes feel like gravel pits.  Good night!
