Trudy, I'm very glad to see you here. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the credit union mess comes out in your favor. The Danielle Steel book that I just read did not seem syrupy!! Several years ago I quit reading her because her books seemed like she was churning them out too fast with the same basic plot. She seems to have gotten over that. At this point I'm not her biggest fan. Some of her older books are ones that I love. Sometimes I read them because I don't have to think a lot & they are not real intense. I see her on The View also as she is a good friend of Barbara Walters. Her hair is a mess!! I bet she could afford a good stylist!! She has nine children but some of them are step children from her several marriages. I think she still lives in San Francisco.
The free Bookmobile is here. I don't know if I will find anything to read but I cleared out a bag of books to donate. Most of them are older Blaze books with a couple of other ones mixed in. I need to do some more weeding out of books on my bookshelves.
I'm reading one of the Tell Harlequin books but not real thrilled with it so far. I don't like the H attitude or behavior!!! Isn't it wonderful that there are books for every taste? :-)
Tonight I'm having dinner with my daughter & grandson that live near by. Have no idea where we are going but it doesn't matter. I love it when we can get together. More tomorrow!!
