Monday night

I know, I know, I've disappeared again!  It's been  very rough and I was in pretty bad shape mentally and emotionally from all the stress I've been under.  What I told you I was hoping would happen did and my cousin paid off my attny's fees for me (long story, tell you later) but it's far from over.  I trudged down to his office (17 mi. in traffic each way) three times in five days to be bullied by his secretary and still the paperwork isn't quite completed.  So I'm still under the gun there.

Of course what would stress be without some other problems too?  And I've had them as well.  Five specialists for five different reasons between the Fourth of July and Labor Day!  C'est la vie, n'est-ce pas?

Well, a former neighbor who sold her unit in my bldg and bought one in another assoc. here took me with her last week when she went to check out a time share in Pompano Beach, FL.  It had been arranged in advance and she paid for everything!  It was a suite so we each had our own room which was nice and a kitchen so we had breakfast there (each brought our own food).  We ate at fast-food places with BOGO coupons.  We went to Miami since I've had never been there and now I can say: been there, done that!  Did go to South Beach before the crazies came out and it was interesting with the restaurants lining the sidewalks on one side of the street and the beach on the other.  Oh, I got picked up on the beach at Pompano Beach by a guy who's 20 younger than me!  Kept telling me how beautiful I am (I knew that was a load of you know what b/c I had seen my face before we left the room and it was really drawn and haggard).  He is very good-looking, from CA originally, living in FL and soooo lonely and loving my bust!!!! 

I'm sorry to say that I didn't go very far back and read all the posts b/c I haven't posted for so long that I would have been sitting here until dawn.  From what I did read however though, you all seem to be doing OK.  I do agree with not sending advil to school w/kids since I was a teacher and they have really cracked down on kids bringing anything remotely resembling a drug to school.

I managed to finally bookmark this site so hopefully I won't be absent so long again.  Sorry!
