After reading like a demon over the past couple of weeks, I haven't read a book in days.  Just got out of the groove.  Had a nice weekend with the kids - spent Friday at a waterpark, it only cost us $7 dollars total to get in as the kids were able to use the coupons they had gotten from the library - good thing too as the pool closed on Tuesday.   I guess Summer is over.  Then did the farmer's market on Saturday and got a great watermelon.  Had friends over for the Michigan/Alabama game, too bad Michigan got creamed.  Then on Sunday, went to the zoo and Maggie went on a high ropes course and zip line - here she is

Then on Monday, we hit the mall to get some stuff for back to school and then went to a friend's for a couple of hours to swim, then home for an early night, as Tuesday was back to school

The kids were definately excited, of course, it isn't cool to act that way, but I think they enjoyed their first day.  Unfortunately, had to work that night, but picked them up from school and did an early dinner before I left so I got to hear quite a bit.

DonnaM- How funny about traffic, I was running errands on Tuesday and was definately frustrated by the traffic.  Couldn't figure out why all these people were out and about.

Mary - I will say this about the CS Harris books, the woman you are thinking will be the h in the series may not be.  I don't want to spoil the series, but if that is holding you off, know that some big changes happen in the series.

DonnaH - What a great deal on the bookcase.  I need to do more rummage, but it is always a matter of time.  Maggie needs a desk and that would likely be a great place to find one.  Hope you enjoy the Witness.

Amanda - So are your kids back to school now too?  Mags starts the running class next week, I will let you know what I think about it.  It seemed a bit expensive, but it provides a pair of running shoes with the program, so maybe not too bad.

As I said, not reading much, started Murder on Washington Square by Victoria Thompson, but haven't been able to read much.  Hope everyone has a good Wednesday.
