Friday Evening

Hi Everyone!  {:-)

Margie, I finished Lisa Kleypas's Dream Lake.  At the end of it they had an exerpt from the next book in the series (said it's #3 of a trilogy) It's called Crystal Cove, and is Justine's story.  I'm going to request it now so I get it as soon as it comes out in March 2013.

When you mention Sensory Processing Disorder, is that something like when he touches something he doesn't know how hard he's touching, for example?  I hope he can get the help he needs for all his problems!  I was just going to say that having to wait until Oct. to find out if he qualifies for help or not is awful, and then I realized that Oct. is in little more than a week.  {:-0

Donna M, very nice fall picture even if it is from last year.  I'm glad you enjoyed the day with your daughter, even if the food was poor.  We'll be looking forward to the new pictures.

I need to go to bed pretty soon as I have to be in town by 7:30 tomorrow morning.  I'm going to a Ladies Retreat in Esterhazy (about a 90 drive from here).  It's only for one day, I'll be home again by suppertime.  The one-day retreats are easier to attend than the overnight ones used to be, but the longer ones were definitely more fun.

I went to physio on Wed. a.m. and in the afternoon I stood at the kitchen sink for more than 2 hours peeling apples.  I have an apple peeler, but it still took me that long to peel the boxful of apples I had.  I woke up around 3:00 in the night in agony.  My shoulder had gone out of place (I must have slept on it) and I couldn't get it back in.  Finally around 6:00 I got up and got into the shower, let the hot water pour over my shoulder, and that finally loosened the muscles up enough so I could click it back into place.  Oh, what a wonderful sound that little tiny "knick" was.  Instant relief!!!  It still ached for most of the day, but at least it was moveable, and by Thurs evening it was fine again.  Wade (my physiotherapist) has given me a total of 10 exercises to do each day.  By themselves they're very mild, but by the time I finish all 10 of them 8 times each, I'm worn right out.

I hear that my washer has stopped, so I'd better go put the stuff into the dryer or I'll be wearing wet jeans tomorrow. . .  UGG!!!

I hope everyone has a good first day of fall!  {:-)
