Margie - I think my girlfriend's daughter has Sensory Disorder. I remember her taking her to a counselor, but also having a hard time getting a diagnosis. I remember she use to twirl all the time. Use to drive her mom crazy. I think they did some counseling (had to pay on their own) and she has mainly grown out of it. She is 9 now. I agree with you about the Lost Night book by Jayne Castle. I usually really like her books, this one seemed to try and have everything wrapped in a bow over a three day period. Just felt too rushed, I didn't believe in the couple. I have never read Agatha Christie. I never really got into mysteries like I am previously.
Trudy - I think my problem with the LI lines is that too often it is not just about 'God" but it seems to be a specific God. I am okay with God, but when someone keeps hitting me over the head with him and this specific church that I need to believe in, it turns me away from the whole concept. I am glad you found one you liked and I hope you feel better soon.
DonnaM - We weren't able to watch DWTS on Monday as the football game - Packers vs the Seahawks took over the ABC affliate. We actually went to bed at halftime, so we didn't see the contraversial call - I am assuming everyone heard about the touchdown pass that should have been called an interception. Boy, that caused an uproar here. As I mentioned, I am not a Packer fan, so I didn't really care, but it was on every TV/radio/newspaper. As for Pam getting kicked off, I was not disappointed. I am not sure why they put her on it this year. She wasn't that good the first time.
Amanda - I am glad that you got your bus situation taken care. It always seems to be one thing or another with school stuff. How is your daughter liking her dance class? Hope you had a good Anniversary.
Mary - I am sorry to hear about Don. I imagine that you use your elbow a lot more that you think you do as it is such an automatic thing - at least it is until it stops working. I hope he is able to get most of his mobility back. As for the mysteries, I have been thinking about it. As I have been reading so many of them - really done several big gloms. I think I was getting bored with romance - too much of the same and the mysteries brought some fresh life to my reading. Not sure what I am going to do now that I am almost done with the Gaslight series. I still have some Elizabeth Peters books to read, but I guess I will be on the lookout for a new series.
I did some reading while I was away. I tried to read
Then I needed something to cleanese the palate so I read a quick Desire
No huge plans for the weekend. On Saturday, Mags and I are meeting a college friend of mine for lunch and some outlet shopping. Nothing planned for Friday or Sunday, so hopefully just taking care of the house and getting ready for the next week.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday.
Cady
