Hi Ladies
DonnaM, Sinde you love your t.v. cabinet and want to keep it, you will probably just have to downsize on the new t.v. size. Most of the new t.v.'s are slimmer but that makes them longer too. We have a big new t.v. I think it is 48 inches and it is on an older coffee table but I hate that because I have to have our DVR and VCR on a table to the side. They were on the floor under the table but that was ugly. It is still ugly but not as bad. I've been looking at yard sales for something that will work. We do have parks/rec dept but I've never heard of Track for Toddlers....they should do that! G would love to run, run, run but I don't think he'd be able to really listen to the teacher. During all this process with the speech issue we are finding he has other special needs. I've done reasearch online and think he has Sensory Processing Disorder. I think he's a sensory seeker. Very interesting how so many of the quirks we just thought were unique to him are actually many symptoms of a sensory seeker. He has some of the sensory avoider stuff too but not as much as a seeker. No diagonis...just my opinion of the things I've read. A couple of thearapist kind of confirmed this when they mentioned he has some sensory issues but didn't elaborate. We have to wait till the end of Oct to see if he qualifies for the program of speech but I think he needs OT too for the sensory stuff. We'll see.
DonnaH, I've only read two DP books and both were SIM books with suspence. I really liked them. I love Lisa Kleypas and have read all her Historicals. I'm enjoying this new contemporary series. I also have Dream Lake from the library to read. Glad to hear you are enjoying it. When LK wrote her first wrote contemp book Sugar Daddy, I was reluctant to read it because I loved her Historicals and didn't want to be disappointed. Also, I didn't like the title. Finally I broke down and read it. I loved it. I really enjoyed that entire series.
Sandi, Maybe I'll look into changing browser when I get my cousin to get over here to help me with my pics. When we moved here, I had no intention of changing the faucet fixtures in the bathroom sinks right away. They were ugly but funtional. Then my good friend came by with two new ones. Not expensive but very nice and with high arching faucets that swivel. I loved that feature as you can move it to wash your face or anything. I've read some of CP books and enjoyed them. But I like paranormal. How'd the interview go? Do the members that read the authors books write questions? How does that work? Oh, I watched finally of BBrother and I'm glad Ian won.
I finished the Sabrina Jeffries books. I read the final book in the Heiress series and didn't like it as much as the other books. I also enjoyed the other series by her better. Now I am reading the new Jayne Castle.
Have a good day.
Margie
