THursday

Donna M sorry to hear about your printer dying.  Glad you were able to get a new one somewhat reasonable.

Donne, sorry you were sick.  What a nice thing for the kids to do to get you a TV.  A couple of years ago we wanted to replace our bedroom one.  They didn't have the one we wanted, so we ended up getting two smaller ones for the same money, and replacing our kitchen and Richard's room (He had taken his with him when he moved out and we just wanted a small one there for guests).  We were going to wait awhile to replace our bedroom one, but a few weeks later we ran into a deal at Target we couldn't resist.

A filler post to make sure I let everyone know what I've been reading/listening to. I have done a lot more listening than reading lately. I'm pretty sure I'm going through a bout of depression, and if I don't pull out soon I'll probably go to the doctor for a prescription.

Bear with me if I mention something I mentioned previously. I have listened to: Call Me Irristible by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I loved it, but then again I usually love everything by her. Wish she wrote a tad faster, and that I read a bit faster...but the way she writes, and the way I read are a good mix because I still have unread books in my TBR!

Love In A Nutshell by Janet Evanovich. This was a quick fun listen. I've pretty much given up reading Evanovich in print, but I do enjoy the audios, so a great way to keep up with her.

Rainshadow Road by Lisa Kleypas. Wow! This was great, and I wish I could remember more about Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor. I really should check and see if I could get the next one, Dream Lake on audio. I have a ecopy because I share my kindle with a friend and she bought it.

Return to Willow Lake by Susan Wiggs. I was so glad to see a new Wiggs book, but disappointed that it's going to be a hardcover. This series to me is just not worth hardcover prices. I really liked it, and have a feeling it's the end of the Lakeshore Chronicles because all the major characters have now had stories.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I can't wait til more people read this. I want to know what you think.

Delusion in Death by Robb. I didn't like it as much as previous titles. Again can't wait til more read this and see what you think. My friend Yvonne got her copy yesterday and read about half of it before she went to bed. I am confident she'll finish tonight.

If You Know Her by Shiloh Walker the third book in the Ash trilogy. I really thought this was an interesting series, and am looking forward to her new series. You do have to read this series in order!

Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts This was an audio and I was surprised because I knew who the bad guy was before it was actually revealed..but probably at just the point I was suppose to figure it out.

Rescue Me by Rachel Gibson another audio. What a fun book!

11th Hour by James Patterson. Is it sad that I don't remember much about this at all?

Sworn to Silence by Linda Castillo. The first in her Amish Mystery series. It was ok, and I'll do another but after that I'm not sure if I don't enjoy it more.

Spring Fever by Mary Kay Andrews. If you like quirky southern stories you'll probably like Mary Kay Andrews. This was a fun read with a great nasty character who finally got theirs!

Fool For Love by Beth Ciotta the first in a new series by her. I love the characters, and can't wait for more!

Finally yesterday I finished Summer Breeze by Nancy Thayer. An author I think doesn't get the recognition she deserves.

On the way in today I started Kill Me Twice by Chelsea Cain who has an amazing twisted mind, and if you don't like thrillers with gore stay away!
