Hi Everyone,
Cady, Whan G was about two he started spinning in circles and my first thought was autism but he didn't have the other red flag issues. He spins rarely now. But I am understanding the symptoms of the sensory disorder can change. I hope you enjoyed your day with Maggie and your friend. Sounds like a nice girls time.
Mary, I've never read a book by Jodi Picoult but my good friend recently told me she really enjoys her books. I assume that JP usually writes women's fiction more than romance since my friend reads her books and she avoids reading romance. However, she loves fairy tales and collects them. I'll have to ask her if she had read the book you mentioned. So sorry about Don's pain. I hope using the light weights will help. I'm glad you can resolve your issue with the IRS. Seems like they always find things years later and those records are a must. Glad you had what you needed to prove your case.
Trudy, I'm so sorry to hear about the child passing. That is just so sad. I can't believe the value of your car went down so much in only 10 months. Are you sure they are just not trying to take advantage of you if they know you need to sell? I would get that checked somewhere else and check online to see what other cars your make and year are going for in your area. Trudy, you must be doing something to be getting all the male attention! Maybe it's your perfume or a new hair style and cloths? But joking aside, it certainly must be awkward that he made a move on you after loaning you the money. I hope you can settle your debt with him asap. Try to not get more stressed! The finance issues are not worth your health.
DonnaM, I love the grapes pic. So pretty. I sympathize on car repair costs. Everytime I get something done, I wish I could do it myself. I remember taking that orientation tour of the high school right before I became a freshman. They took us through the auto body shop and I wanted so badly to take that class as an elective but I was so shy and didn't have the guts to go for it. I even thought about taken classes as a mechanic at the junior college but still...to insecure and not comfortable being the only woman. I wish I would have done it in high school. I really think I would have been good at it.
We went to the fair on Friday and G was not really interested in looking at the animals. He was a bit afraid of the horses. What he really wanted to do was get on the rides but they did not have them on during the morning when all the school kids were there. So, because we drove ourselves, we signed out a bit early and went home. It was a nice warm day so he just got wet in the back yard and had a fun time. I finally started sorting through the cloths and stuff in the garage to get ready for our yard sale. We hope to do it next week but, if I'm not ready, we'll have to do it later in October.
I started Dream Lake by Lisa Kleypas. Still got a ways to go but so far I am really enjoying it. I hope you are all having a good weekend.
Margie :)
