Fall means football, right! The 49'ers are player the Green Bay Packers. At this point the Niners are ahead but it is early in the game. They are playing in Green Bay. Cady, I don't remember if you are a Packer fan.
The above picture is more of the blooming life at the coast. There were all kinds of interesting little plants that I really don't remember seeing or noticing before. Maybe my timing wasn't right or maybe I look more with the camera.
Donna H, I know what you mean about driving in a city. It takes total concentration & even then who knows what another driver, bicyclist or pedestrian might do!! In the city you also have the taxis, buses etc. that are public transportation. We will not be in down town San Francisco. I'll be posting how it went when it is over!! Congratulations on only needing/wanting to loose another 5 pounds. You have done so good loosing weight. Glad you enjoyed The Witness. I'll read it when it is out in paperback. I'm a big Nora fan.
I know everyone is not a football fan but I am a happy female that football is back! I know Amanda & Mary have favorites. It has been quiet here, maybe everyone is out doing fun things.
When I went for my walk this morning it felt more like fall. Anticipation, wishful thinking or does it really feel that way? :-) One of my favorite old houses has the outside fall decorations up. I have to get a picture. Last year I got one but it looks very different this year. They are in the process of restoring this old house which is always fun to watch & see the progress.
Enough chat for now. I have no real news or exciting adventure to report!! I'll leave you with this picture. You can see this interesting house from the highway & the trail that I walked. It has always intrigued me. I call it the "wave" house. The architect may have had that in mind. Even the windows are interesting. They must have a very awesome view.
