Friday Morning

Hi guys!

Sandi--this is definitely a safe place to vent. It is good to have a place like this to go to. Sorry things are not good at work right now. Makes me glad to be retired. Hope things at work and home get better for you.

Donna M--I liked the picture of Bryce Canyon. We did not get there on either of our Arizona/Utah visits. There is so much to see in both states. I hope you continue to enjoy your travels.

I finished Cops and...Lovers? yesterday. It was a good story. Linda Castillo is one of my favorite authors and an auto-buy. I was able to get her earlier books used on Amazon. This is one of her first books and shows how good her writing was from the start. She is now writing a series set in Amish country in Ohio. It is very good but does tend to be dark. I started another Maisie book this morning--Birds of a Feather--it is good so far.

Today I am cleaning house. We are having Don's birthday dinner tomorrow. Karen and her family will be here and one of my brothers. I will be making the usual--chocolate cake and lasagna. The kids can't wait for another  party!

I hope everyone has a good weekend. The weather here is supposed to be nice. Warm but not hot.
