Hi guys!
I had a lot of posts to read but I did take notes so here goes.
We had a great time at the Phillies game on Saturday. The weather was great except for being a bit windy at times. The kids were really into the whole experience from tail-gating on. They have been going to games since they were babies so they are veterans. I think Jake's favorite part is checking out all the people and flirting with the women! Unfortunately the Phils lost but it didn't detract from the fun day we had.
I finished reading The Book of Love by Kathleen McGowen. It was long but a good read. Not as good as the first book in the trilogy but still good. I will have to read the final book of the three but will wait a while. I am now reading my June dad book. It is Cops and ...Lovers by Linda Castillo who is one of my favorite authors. The dad is a widower with a young daughter who is in a wheelchair with a spinal injury she sustained in the car accident that killed her mother. It is a very intense book but good. I will finish soon.
Donna M--I hope you are enjoying your trip. Don't feel bad about getting lost. A lot changes when you have been away from somewhere for so long. Sounds like the rash is improving.
Donna H--that is cool that you got to meet Kaelee/Linda. She was one of my friends on Har. too.
Trudy--how goes the quest for a new/fixed a/c? I hope things are progressing for you.
Margie--kids and water just seem to go together don't they? My grandkids like to help their dad clean the cars because the can get soaked doing it! I would like to see Snow White and the Huntsman.
Cady--I liked your story about Luke and being excited to wear all the stuff for his ball game. I believe there are to be more books in the Graveyard Queen series.
Amanda--I won't even mention the Phils! :-( And now Freddy is going on the dl. How is your ankle. Take care of that.
Sandi--I liked the pictures you posted from the graduation. Cool getting all the new dresses. I bought some new sundresses for this summer. Sounds like you had fun shopping!
Well, I better go. Hope everyone is having a good week!
Mary
