DonnaM, What a cool pic. Have a great trip! I hope the weather is in your favor. I did try a few sites including hotel.com but just haven't decided yet. There are 4 adults and 3 kids going so we need a suite or two rooms. You are right about not getting much of a deal for Summer time. We go at the end of July because my work closes that week.
I think we might just go with connecting rooms at the Candy Cane Inn since we've stayed there a few times. Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and has a pretty patio/pool area. It is small but nice and has free cont.breakfast and free shuttle and a kids wading pool. We wanted room to move around for the kids to play so might get two connecting premium rooms which cost more but they are the biggest and have lots of space.
I'll be making a decision on the hotel this week. Getawaytoday.com has some hotels, not the Candy Cane. They have packages and make it easy and have best deal on the tickets right now. The site makes it look like you must get 5 adult and 2 kid tickets with the packages (which we don't need) but you can edit that in the cart. For sure we will get tickets with them regardless if I get a hotel package. The Disney ticket prices have just gone up but their getaway ticket prices are the same until this week.
DonnaH, It sounds like you had fun on your trip and meeting kaylee. It's been a while since I've read a book by Karen Templeton but I really like her books.
Amanda, That is so funny about your niece jumping in the shower with you.LOL. Is this the same Jen who had the bbq?
I went to see Snow White this weekend and it was good. Not great but good. Charlize (sp?) was so wicked as the queen. I just started Amanda Quick's Crystal Gardens and it seems like a good one.
