Sandi - Cute picture of Travis. As for the hospital, I know that it use to be that health care couldn't charge you interest for unpaid bills. I don't know if that is true or not, but I have heard that they are tough about trying to make people pay and that you have to fight for your rights.
DonnaM - Sounds like it has been a sizzler there. Here the heat keeps coming and going. We are hot, hot, hot again, but should cool off by the end of the week. Nice photos from your trip.
Mary - I feel bad as I had been on the harlequin site for years, but truthfully there is little that I go to on the odd occasion I visit. I still buy the occasional books from the site - especially the Harlequin Medicals as they don't sell those in stores here. Have you tried a pain patch? They were just talking about them in one of the magazines here. They said the positive is less stomach sensitivity, but the negative is cost. But it might be something to check out, the article I read said they are available over the counter as well as prescription. I hope you are feeling better.
Margie - I was really glad that Maggie wanted to go to camp. She is much more independent than she use to be and I think camp helps her. Who knows if she will go again, but I am hopeful. As for swim lessons that is a great idea for Gavin, they are really good for building self confidence and I would recommend all kids know how to swim and be safe in the water. (I was a former swim instructor, so it is non-negotiable at our house. :)
We spent a perfect Sunday yesterday, we did nothing. I took the kids to Target in the morning, but otherwise we just hung out at home. Even better, I think everyone was so tired, no wanted to do anything. Mike golfed in the morning and then we cooked that night - brats, shrimp and pasta salad, nice and easy, but what he wanted. Kids started Summer School today. Maggie's classes are all at the high school, so that is a big change for her and then Luke changes classes each period this year, another change and one my little guy is a bit nervous about. There were only a couple of tears, so hopefully the day goes well. This is a pretty good week - bball games, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and then we leave for vacation on Friday night. I am definately looking forward to it. Since it was a lazy day, I finished Carla Kelly's book - it was nice, just never pulled me in. Then I read the next Amelia Peabody book - The Snake, The Crocodile and The Dog - loved it, stayed up late to finish it. Hope everyone has a good Monday.
Cady
