Now don't go and die of shock! I remembered you all in time! Thanks for the good wishes for my a/c. Please pray that the fix-a-leak works. I don't know what I'll do if it doesn't; I have about another week before I'll know. However, I do have another problem, like I really need one, right?
Over the weekend, I started receiving letters from lawyers telling me that they had seen that a judgement/lawsuit had been filed against me by my former credit union (remember that story from last summer) and could they represent me? Well, this is news to me as I hadn't, and still haven't, received any kind of official notification of this impending legal action! Today, I called my lawyer, had to leave a message along the line of was this something else she didn't take care of and I wanted to know NOW but haven't gotten a response. I also called the Florida Bar Assoc. again and, you guessed it, had to leave a message. I can't seem to get anyplace!!!
Sharon Browne finally released a statement yesterday on Ryan Kelly but only that he was seriously injured and hospitalized and wouldn't be going with Celtic Thunder to Atlantic City in two weeks. Today, she announced the person who is stepping in to replace him. His name is Colm, he's 23, from Dublin, with a degree in Music and Irish and has performed with Celtic Woman and The Priests. Oh, yeah, he's a hunk! Wish I could go to Atlantic City!
I don't read the same books you do but I did read a HH by Charlotte Featherstone called Temptation & Twilight where the heroine is blind. It is part of a series which bothered me more than the her blindness. Otherwise it was pretty good. Yesterday, I ordered Michelle Willingham's latest, due to come out any day; it's the last in her series and I've read the others. I read an early Nora Roberts Silhouette, Luring a Lady which was very good; I do like her shorter books better than her longer books. I'm not reading as much; I can't concentrate and my time is being cut up by taking care of my next-door neighbor and other activities.
I haven't heard how the calendar went over with my grandson and I'm afraid to ask. Will let you know when I know!
Trudy
