Good Afternoon Everyone,

Margie so happy to see you here with the rest of us.  I'll comment more later.  The picture is one from my nature photography hike last Saturday.  Sure glad it wasn't scheduled for today as it is much to warm for that type of activity.  I got off to an early start this morning, well, early for me!  I think it was about 7:20 am when I got up, it was cool & heavenly.  I did dishes, put clean sheets on the bed which warmed me up, darn!  Hopped in the shower after that, ate & got myself in gear to go to Santa Rosa for the book sale & decided since Farmer's Market is just across the road I would visit it also.  Great day!  Warmed up fast but I got a lot accomplished.  The last chore is in the dryer now & once that is done I intend to just read & try not to get any hotter!  :-)  I'm reading Catherine Mann's Hot Zone.  I think I am a little behind on this series but I'll catch up.

Sandi, I'll be curious to hear more about the trip to San Antonio with Richard.  Since he is an adult I would let him pay for the hotel especially since you seem to be paying the rest of the expenses.  That is just my humble opinion.  I hope he does well with his bowling.  How do you like the iPad?  I'm still thinking about buying a tablet but the iPads are way out of my price range.

Margie, Congratulations on being able to buy a house with your sister.  It is wonderful that the two of you could do that & help out your parents also.  I hope it all goes smoothly for you.  I can't believe Gavin is 3.  Disneyland will be fun but he probably won't remember much of it when he gets older.  Just gives you a good excuse to go again when he is older.  It is so expensive but I know there are sometimes good deals.  I'd love to go again as an adult with another adult, no kids!!

Mary, did you get what you needed from your shopping trip?  Shopping with a man sometimes is so frustrating.  I do have one male friend that is fun to shop with.  I rarely see him anymore but we have had some fun times shopping along with his long time girl friend & my long time friend also.  The three of us have known each other over 40 years.  Such good memories & good laughs along the way.  Do you have plans for Jacob's birthday?

I think that catches me up with everyone.  I am so ready to just sit in my chair & enjoy my book.  Have a wonderful rest of the day.  Here is another picture from the photography hike!
