Monday AM, April 16, 2012...

Good Morning Everyone,

It is great seeing all the activity & pictures.  Keep them coming.  Thanks for enjoying my pictures.  I like sharing them since you all live in other parts of the country you can see my lovely area.  Hopefully you will all share pictures of the area where you live.

Sandi, my vote is to keep the purple but it might be fun to change it up once in awhile.  It is really fun that we can all experiment to keep this blog personal to all of us.

DonnaH, I'm curious about a steam mop.  I don't pay much attention to those things are they something new or am I just ignorant?  :-)   I hope you can get some reading done today while you are in the truck with Hardy.  I really laughed about the paint flowing out of the cans then onto the walls!!  Wouldn't that be loverly.

I will have to transfer some pictures of my hike Saturday, then I can post them here.  I got several that I'm very happy with.  The organization that held this one may do another out on some property by the coast with the same photographer.  He was wonderful with each of us.  There were 3 children on the hike with us.  It was fun watching them.  One girls was so enthusiastic about taking pictures.  I got a shot with her in it.  Meanwhile here is another picture from my day to see the tall ships.  Enjoy!  Well I thought that would be below this paragraph!  This is a close up of the ship that was coming into the harbor.  I was amazed at how much rigging there is on these ships.  Even though I chose to not stand in line to go on the ship I loved being able to see them.  They sure drew a lot of people to that little coastal town.  Probably boosted the economy a bit.  I'm going to post one more picture in this message.  It is looking across the bay into a small part of the town.  It is a very small coastal town/village.

Last night I finished reading Call Me Irresistible by Susan Elizabeth Phillips.  I enjoyed it a lot.  It is part of a series but stands alone.  I did not find much of her usual humor in this book.  Maybe I just wasn't amused when others might be!

I've made this really chatty so will close for now & get something accomplished...maybe!!

Happy reading, take care,
Donna M
