Now I'm going to start off showing you some of Sonoma county.  This picture was taken a couple of years ago on a beautiful winter day.  The sun was hitting this vineyard with the dormant vines making what I thought was a pretty picture.  I have tons of pictures from around the area.  There is always something that makes me think I should take a picture of that!!  I'll also at some point post some pictures of my trip last October when I got to see the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Az., Bryce & Zion National Parks.  Every time I see those pictures I want to go there again! DonnaH, thanks for the compliment on the pictures.  It took me a bit to figure it out but now it is so easy to post pictures here.  I want to figure out how to post book covers like Sandi does.

After my busy day yesterday I have no ambition.  It is suppose to be a little cooler today which is fine by me.  I do not like that heat!  I need to do dishes & have some lunch.  The only other plan I have is to finish looking through the Sunday newspaper & read my book!

This was taken in January 2011 same day the picture above was taken.  I got to go on some private property called The Ranch, gated & lovely!  The place was up for sale & the last chance a group of us would have to go there.  It was owned by the son of one of us that went.  He wanted to know everything was okay there.  It was a weekend or vacation retreat!  Wow!  I could have easily lived there happily.  I heard the new owners bulldozed the house to build something newer!!  The house wasn't that old, I just can't imagine destroying something that was a bit outdated.  Such a waste.
