Wednesday

The last couple of days have been totally hectic!  I don't know where the time goes, but it sure does go! 

I took the morning off work yesterday, and felt guilty about how long I was staying away from work.  Technically they had told me I don't need to be there until 2 on Tuesday and Thursday, but I landed there about 12:30-1 yesterday, and immediately wished I had stayed away until 2.  It was just an awful day, and I didn't get to leave until about 6:45.  I finally broke down and told one parent who insisted that they needed to take some fancy pens that Ellen put out (in an effort to help people know that they're our pens and not theirs) that they couldn't give in to everything their child cried about.  These parents really annoy me, and I wouldn't mind at all if they dropped...they don't discipline their kids at all!  It was after 6:30 when he came in and took my pen because one of his kids took one when I helped another parent and so the other kid was crying, and I couldn't stop him!  UGH!

My office is a mess and I couldn't get it cleaned because Ellen has me doing one thing after another and I can't get one project finished the way I want before she's insisting that I do another!  We had a fight about ratios and she accused me of hanging up on her, when she's typically the one who hangs up on a conversation and I don't know if she hung up or her phone dropped the call, but I do know I didn't hang up on her!

Trudy, I'm so sorry to hear about your AC woes.  It sounds like your expense just went way up!  I wish there was something we could do to help.  Twice since we've lived here we've had to have our foundation jackhammered out so we could fix things under it.  How not fun!

I sent Margie the invite today, and hopefully she gets it.  I also sent her an email to let her know that there was an invite.

Tonight is book club.  I'm really looking forward to hearing about the Fresh Fiction team's adventures at RT.  Our call in author is Robyn Carr, so you know I'll be excited!  We're having brisket for dinner, and I love brisket, but can't cook it worth a darn, so that will be totally exciting as well!

Well, I've got to dry my hair and get ready to start another day at the grindstone!
