Hi Mary, I guess you were posting while I was still typing.
I finished "The Last Real Cowboy" by Donna Alward today. It was great! She treated another delicate topic with great dignity, yet the angst between H and h was still there. I'm going to read "The Lawman's Legacy" by Shirlee McCoy now. It's #1 in the Fitzgerald Bay series from Love Inspired Suspense. I've got them all but the last one. Hopefully I'll have it before I finish them all.
I have to phone a company that we do business with and give them tar tomorrow. Along with my last cheque to them I sent a request to cancel a standing order I had. On Friday it will be a whole month since I sent them that cheque and that request. In the mail yesterday I got a letter saying that they had received my request and I could consider it done. But they haven't cashed my cheque yet. They obviously got the request, so where's the cheque. That is so maddening!
I forgot to mention a couple of messages ago that I had finished the April Challenge with Donna Alward's "How A Cowboy Stole Her Heart". Excellent reading! She treated the topic of breast cancer superbly.
So what are we going to do for May?
I think it's time for bed. I'm starting to see things -- not really, but my stupid computer is changing back and forth trying to save this post, or something.
