I wanted to share a few pictures of the house.  The front needs some plants but it will have to wait for a while.  We've been planting in the back.  The back only had roses and a cherry tree.  The roses started to bloom a month ago and they are so big and beautiful.  We've added the other flowers.   Hopefully they will all take and get big to fill a lot of space,  We planted daisy bushes and some purple plant (can't remembe the name) to do that. 

 

The side yard is fenced off from the back.  This is good because we are focusing on the back right now.  The side yard is almost as big as the back and my sister wants to put a above ground pool in.  So it is a good thing it has a fence with a gate to get into the side.  This keeps Gavin out now but we will still put a padlock on it. 

 You can see a pile of rubbish in the back there.  That is the start of my dump pile. 

The lavender flowers are called Blue Birds.  They look so beautiful right now.  There was a bird taking a bath but I couldn't get closer without scaring him away.  I took all those weeds out that you see in the planter and it looks so much nicer now.  The grass/weeds need to be mowed!  That bench was in the front yard and they left it so we put it in the back.  It is sturdy and just needs some black paint on the wrought iron and a painting or staining the seat to make it look like new.  Another project!
