Good Afternoon to All,
Each time I come I'm learning something. One thing that puzzles me is that I don't always see all the posts which I like to do because then I can see what I read last. I also learned that if you leave a comment at the bottom of a post it only shows up if you click on those comments. What I learned from that is to always click on New Post up at the top of this page. Learning, learning. If anyone else has found easy ways here let the rest of us that are technically challenged know. Thanks. :-) Can we get little emoticons? I also found spellcheck!
I got up late, for me, this morning which means I feel like I am running behind. I signed up for a photography hike later today which would be wonderful but I think it is going to be a muddy mess. There is suppose to be a special message if it is cancelled. The place where the hike is can be squishy & muddy after several days of no rain, but because today is sunny & beautiful I think they will have it despite the fact we have had rain on Thursday & a couple of brief showers yesterday. A professional nature photographer is leading the hike. I'm such an amateur I don't know if I will learn anything new but I hope to. If I pick up one or two hints at something new to me it will be great. This is free with an organization that stewards open land in our county. Sometimes land is donated for open space that will eventually become part of our parks system. This organization helps in that transition. Right now most any government, city, county, state has no money for acquiring new park land this gives an alternative. As you all know I am a big lover of the great outdoors. If the hike is held I'll be back to tell you more.
Does anyone here use "paperbackbookswap"? Sandi introduced me to that website years ago. I really like being able to access more books through this. The exchange saves money & I can pass along books I'm not keeping.
