I forgot

I forgot to tell you that I invited Little Annie (Pat) from eH to come here. Sandi had sent me a link to share with the ones I invite, so I sent it to her. She is very unhappy with eH right now, so I'm sure she'll join us.

We made a quick trip into town today. Our daughter had to do some grocery shopping, and I needed a couple of things, so we went along. I bought yogurt and quinoa, while Hardy bought pudding cake mixes and black cherry pop. Quite the shopping list, eh?

I finished the 8 posters I had to make for our Ladies Dessert Night on May 7th. (I'm the secretary) For the last 11 years we've had a Salad Supper on the first Monday night in May, but this year we decided it was too much work, and too expensive, so we're going with desserts and tea this year. This is an evening out for the ladies of our community, put on by our church. Well, we were getting ladies coming from as far as 30+miles away. They were just excited that they could get a salad supper for free. Some of them were so rude that they didn't even have the decency to stay for the program that followed. We had fashion shows, game nights (the Price is Right, for example), movies, inspirational speakers, you name it, we've done it. Anyhow, last year the number hit 240 ladies, and our church basement is only rated for 180, so we had to do something to cut down on the ladies coming from distances. I have to make 2 lemon meringue pies for this year. That's nothing compared to what I've done other years.

Well, I had a first today. I was over at eH, had a nice long message typed out, for I Am Canadian, and just as I clicked on post my message, it booted me to the home page. I went back but my message was gone. I started typing another one, but then I saw the button that said recover saved message, so I clicked on it. It had only saved half my message, and I lost the second one I had started. Not impressed.

Now I need to start on our income tax. I've put it off about as long as it can be put off. I only get $23 back, so I'm not real thrilled about it. I think I'll just go to bed and read for a while. . .
