Testing...

This is going to take some getting use to! That may be bad grammer!

Thanks Sandi for setting this up. I don't use Google a lot but do from time to time. One complaint I have is that every time I sign on it does not accept my password & I have to start all over again. Maybe if I used it more often that would change.

What am I reading? I just finished reading Tessa Dare's book A Night to Surrender. Most of you know that I don't read historicals much but this book & the next one were mentioned on the Plotmonkeys blog that I visit which led me to try this. Whew! Long sentence. A Night to Surrender is the first book in the Spindle Cove series. I enjoyed this one enough to try #2. Prior to this I read A Perfect Storm by Lori Foster & Born Ready by Lori Wilde, a Blaze. That should catch up all up on my reading.

I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone & reading "our" blog. I may still visit eHarlequin from time to time but I get tired of all the changes! Technology, love it, hate it! I love it because through the Internet you have all become friends.

Enough for now!!

Happy reading,
Donna M

  1. I met Sandi in chat and told me about your blog here. Looking forward to chatting books too! I love Tessa Dare. I suggest too here Wanton Dairymaid Trilogy (what a title) but they are fab! I have the second trilogy to read as well. She's a keeper!

I finished a historical by Margo Maguire, SEDUCING THE GOVERNESS and just loved it! I do love historicals! I too love Lori Foster's books! I need to get her new one!

    1. Thanks Caffey,
I'm not a lover of historical books but enjoyed the one I just read. I'm much more of a contemporary person in my reading.

Thanks for stopping by to check us out.

  2. I am here:) Of course, have no clue how to post so its seen by all without hitting "comment".

I'm reading Oath of Office by Michael Palmer for book club next week. So far I really like it. He's a new-to-me author. Only about 1/3 into it, so we'll see if I still like it come the end. Will be interested to see how the two stories going on connect.

Haven't been on eHarlequin since the change and now maybe I don't want to. Maybe I'll check it out tomorrow, as I want to get some reading in before bed. Hope everyone is having a good week:)

  3. Amanda & the rest of Readers United,
We all have to get use to this. I went on a little shopping spree today. For some reason I was blessed with a bit of extra cash! Have no idea how that happened. Of course it was burning a hole in my pocket!! There were some things I needed like a new shower curtain liner, laundry detergent & a couple of other things. I picked up a few things I didn't need but wanted, that was fun. :-) I had a quick lunch at my favorite Mexican restaurant, a little place that long ago was a hamburger stand!! Target had several books out that I wanted so I picked up those. I have to find out how to post a book cover along with books I mention. That is cool!!

    Everyone have a good evening.

It sounds like you had a great day.

Amanda - I think you can only "post" when you are on your page. Before I came on the blog, I saw something that said post, am going to give it a shot.
