Those redwood roots are amazing!  Way back when we still lived in Iowa Mike went to California for a business trip, and he did a drive through the Redwood Forest.  He brought me back a bowl made from redwood, and you were supposed to be able to grow some redwoods with some kit he bought with it.  They did sprout, and I don't remember how long we had them, but of course they never really amounted to anything!


Last night we had book club.  Oh man!  I just thought of something I wanted to mention at book club and totally forgot!  I don't want to email this thought to my friends, as I want to see their expressions when I announce it.  It's not about me, or anything even remotely exciting, or bad, but I know my friends will find it interesting, and I want to see their expressions and hear their tone of voice when they respond.


Was it Mary who said she was concerned about her reviews disappearing?  Anyway, you can post reviews here, and then we can hit share on twitter or facebook.  I don't mind sharing the info on my twitter feed, but really don't usually post things to my facebook.  I have facebook more so I can get information from various sources rather than using it to impart information.


Now I have a sore throat.  That's not good because I'm supposed to go to San Anotonio tomorrow with Richard!  UGH!  I'm hoping that it's an allergy thing, and taking either an allergy pill or cold/sinus thing will nip it in the bud.  Crossing fingers!


I'm reading a Sherryl Woods book but don't recall the title.  It's the second book she's releasing this summer in The Sweet Magnolia Series.  I love those!  I'm listening to Harry Potter because I could download it from the library.
