Tuesday evening

Hi everyone!

Donna--I know what you mean about recalling your own children growing up when watching your grandkids. Jake's language is very good. He picks up words that Lauren and the adults use but he does have favorites. Actually is one of them. He uses it correctly which blows our minds. Jake is a wonder to me. Even though I grew up with brothers, I raised a girl and watching how different he is fascinates me. When Karen needs advice about boys she talks to her mil who raised three. Lauren is a lot like Karen was growing up. They have very similar personalities--type A!

Sandi--you are a good mom helping Richard out. It is true they are still our kids no matter how old they are and they sometimes need our help. Jacob will be 3 on the 30th! Hard to believe--they grow up so fast. I would have been crying too if they were making holes in my walls and floors. When we first moved in here we had to have a french drain put in the basement. They had to jack-hammer around three walls. I would not want to go through that again.

Margie--Gavin is a cutie and so grown up looking! We had an old Joann Fabrics but I hardly ever went there because it was out of my way. I did a lot of online shopping with them. But this new store is only about 5 miles away and I am thrilled to be able to shop in a nice fabric store again. I hope that your sister is able to get Gavin into the early ed class. It should help with his speech. Kids develop at different rates but I can understand that it would be stressful for your sister. I will keep a good thought for him and you and your sister.

I am still reading and enjoying Girls Night. It has some serious stuff going on but the humor has me LOL! I love the hero--an Italian with blue eyes (just like my dh!)

Have a good evening and happy reading.

Mary
