Last night at book club we had about 14 people. 12 people could fit at one table, so my friend Pat and I let the majority of the group sit there, and I ate standing up in the kitchen, and I don't really know if Pat ever ate or not. Then she ran off to the garage to help Tom sort books to send out to the Fresh Fiction reviewers. She had a person named Jamie helping her because Jamie doesn't read Robyn and Pat travels with Fresh Fiction and has the opportunity to chat with her often.
As always Robyn was a delight to chat with, and as is becoming tradition the first comment was that I was in the room. We all laugh at that, and some were disappointed that we were talking to her before the release of Sunrise Point, but there were a couple of us who have had the chance to read it, and loved it. When we got done chatting with Robyn I had to grab Jamie so she could assist with dessert as our person who typically helps with dinner was working, and Jamie and I were both filling her shoes...we each have our own talent and to compete with Gwen does take us both! Since Jamie was in charge of dessert I wolfed down my piece of cake and went and helped Tom and Pat in the garage getting books for reviewers.
