Wednesday evening

I am having too much fun with the different colors! Now if I ever figure out the pictures that will be a real accomplishment!

Cady--let us know how you like Cover Me. I have never read any of the Elizabeth Peters Egypt books but I have read a lot of her books written under the Barbara Michaels name. I found another historical mystery series you might be interested in as well. It is the Victoria Thompson 'Gaslight' series. It begins in 1896 NYC. The heroine is a midwife and during her first murder investigation she becomes acquainted with Detective Frank Malloy. I assume he becomes her love interest. I have ordered the first book from my library system--Murder on Astor Place. There are nine books in the series as far as I can tell.

Sandi--I hope your work week improves. I have seen lots of kids in the library whose parents do not discipline them. It is disturbing for everyone. My dd and sil are pretty strict with the kiddos. They know better than to misbehave in a public place or at school. Some parents just seem to let the kids run the show.

Donna H--there are several people (other than us) who are not happy with Harlequin right now. I have had trouble similar to you with being bounced back to the home page. I have only posted twice since the change and am thinking about just staying away for now.

I am reading Haunting Beauty which has me intrigued but getting somewhat impatient to know what is going on. It got really good reviews so I am hoping things start making sense. I am trying to get more books listed on Goodreads as I learn to navigate the website. I would like to start doing some reviews on there. I have some posted on Amazon. I have learned my lesson from Harlequin and Facebook. Things can change at any time so only do reviews where they won't disappear without a trace. :-(

Mary
