I was on a few days ago, and my computer decided to freeze and that was the end of that. Doing much better today, but a lot more to catch up on. Decided to take a page from Donna's book and post a scenery picture. This one is at the local park that I go for walks at.
Margie - Glad you made it over here. Congrats on your new house - very exciting! When you figure it out, would love to see pics:) Being someone who has moved a bunch, I am very happy to say we've been in our mobile for 12 1/2 yrs. Moving is great for cleaning out but such a pain to do. Happy belated 3rd to Gavin.
Cady - Love the family pic - now I can "see" you - lol!
Sandi - Sounds like a great time at book club. How did the bowling matches go for Richard? We had Aurora's bowling banquet for the high school team last Sunday. It was nice but cost me more than I would have liked altogether. Hoping next year they just have it at the school.
DonnaH - People really would drive over 30 miles for a salad dinner? What else got served with it? Seems a lot of money to spend in gas. And then to be rude on top of it in horrible. I can also totally relate to a day not going as planned. Happens more often than I would like.
DonnaM - Love the pics! I will soooo have to come visit so I can check the scenery out. Now, if I could just win the lottery, it would happen a lot sooner:)
Mary - Not a total wash this weekend. Weather was beautiful yesterday. Today, much needed rain. Glad I had nowhere to go. Lots of sports for me to watch today. Hoping the Phillies will take the Flyers lead today and win. They need to get out of this funk they started in.
Trudy - Are you going to get any of the cooler air we're getting this week? Not as cool, but cool enough where the broke a/c doesn't matter? Only going to be in the 50's for the next few days and low 60's by next weekend.
Had a super busy day yesterday. Had Amelia's lacrosse game at 11, hung two loads of wash out before going, stopped for lunch at Panera's, dropped Amelia off at her gf's (they both ended up sleeping at our house), went to let Jen's dogs out while she was working, took Aurora to Deb's for a dress for her 9th grade semi formal this Friday, stopped at the food store, came home to make dinner and get a shower before leaving for book club. Very glad today is a watch tv, do some cleaning day and not go out day - lol. Have to tell you, I got a great deal on Aurora's dress. Wasn't sure I'd find one. They had tons but mostly ugly as sin and super short (glad I am NOT a teenager). Found one that wasn't too bad with a $25 tag - pretty good. Got to the register and the girl says "$3 please". I was like What? $3? Yep! Hot damn, what a deal! Not sure I ever got anything (minus baby clothes) that good before. Even the ladies waiting in line were impressed with that.
Off I go to put some wash on. Delayed my cleaning part to watch the Flyers game. Yeah we won to end this series! Bring on round 2! Hope everyone is having a good weekend and a great Monday. Monday will be good just because I don't have to go to jury duty:) Probably be called Tuesday or Wednesday though - bummer:(.
