Friday night

I'm alive, I'm alive!!!!   Who knew?

I didn't realize its been two weeks since I've been here.  Didn't think I was that busy, but I guess I was.  I can say most of it was the Olympics.  Enjoyed all that I watched.  I did miss last Thursdays because we went to the Eagles preseason game.  What an ordeal!  Took us an 1 1/2 to get there (this should be a 35 min ride).  And then it was $25 to park:0  Are you kidding me?  Even worse, my sil said that's just for preseason - regular season is $35-45.  I want to know how anyone goes.  I will only ever be going with free tix, like this time.  So, missed the whole first quarter, and left after the third.  The game was taking forever and David needed to get some sleep.  It was fun while we were there though.

Ok, I read allt he post, but not sure how much I'll remember.  Just bare with me.

Sandi -- Sorry about all the craziness with the house projects.  Will love to see all the pics once done though:)  Can't believe Brian is 20.  Always scary how quickly time goes by (unless we are at work - lol).

Cady -- One person in Pocono was killed by lightening.  10 others were hurt, I believe.  So sad.  Funny how Luke wanted to stay for Maggie's party - gotta love siblings.  Love the pics of them.  School pics before school starting is interesting.  They usually have pics here in Sept or Oct.

DonnaM -- Glad you had a nice birthday:)  Love your pics - as always.  They will never get old.  I'm with you on Bristol back on DWTS.  I don't mind Pam as much, even though she doesn't dance well.  I'm also with you about Jeopardy - I always feel smart when I know an answer too.  Even better if I know final Jeopardy and the contestants all get it wrong.  That's the best.

DonnaH -- Congrats on your parents 68th anniversary.  Thats a wonderful achievement.  Sorry you don't think she'll make the next one:(  How was the weiner roast?  I'm with Donna, if its outside why clean inside?  LOL

Margie -- Loved the "Hulk" story.  Gotta love kids.  Glad dinner with your dad went good.

Mary -- Don't want to talk Phillies after last night's and tonights games - sigh.  Hope you have a good trip to the shore.  Was suppose to go to the beach last Friday, but the rain ruined that deal.  Amelia was totally bummed.  Hoping maybe to make it there next Saturday.  I can't believe Lauren is starting school.  Again, where does the time go?  This is my first year out of elementary school:O

Trudy -- That totally sucks that the lawyers don't do anything until they are paid in full.  Why?  Most people have to work first before getting paid.  Sheesh.  How is the selling things going?  Sorry the convention is anywhere near year.  I never have that problem, since they would go to Philly and I avoid the city at all costs:)

Ok, think I am caught up.  Tomorrow I am going to my gf Treena's for the afternoon.  Her and her husband just moved into a new place today, so that will be fun.  Leaving the girls home for this trip.  Nothing for them to do in an apartment.  Should be a nice day for a drive to Dover.

Haven't been reading much.  Did read a Blaze - in the Uniformly Hot series.  It was a lot of fun, a "best friends" story.  I always like them.  I'm now reading DC Dead by Stuart Woods.  It should be a quick read and I always enjoy his books.

Ok, I am off to let puppies out for Jen.  She's on vaca, and I only have the night shift.  Would have left earlier, but it was pouring out, and the dogs won't go out in it, so why bother?

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Amanda
