Here I am again trying to catch up.  Sorry I still don't have pics to share.  I'm having an issue with my on downloading and trying to save my pics on a disk.  My printer won't work either and I think it has to do with our move to this house.  I had to get a new wireless box so I think I need to program something. I need my cousin to come over and walk me through the steps again.

Cady, I'm glad Maggie had a good birthday party.  Funny how Luke didn't want to miss out on what all the girls were up too.  The kids are so big now.  Those are cool pics of the kids with the dinosaurs.   It is very sad about that shooting.  What is wrong with people?  I don't understand.   Our state fair is in Sacramento and it is just too hot there in the Summer for it to be a pleasant place to attend.  To bad they don't have it at a cooler time of the year.

DonnaM, I hope your son in law illness is not serious and that you hear some good report.  You are right about it being difficult to take pics with so many people.  I realized that most of my pics are of me turning in my seat to try to take a pic of Gavin.  I didn't get a pic of the entrance with the big Micky in flowers or the Disney sign.  I wanted some stuff like that for the scrap book.  I just wasn't thinking at the time.  Funny pics of your grand kids.  Your grandson does look like a little kid hanging from that branch.  That is good that they don't want to grow up so fast and can be silly.  I remember Sadhbh.  She's from Ireland if I recall correctly.  I know I asked her how she pronounced her name but I can't remember now. I know it is nothing like it is spelled.

Mary, I've been watching the Olympics every night and I agree that they could be doing a much better job.  I was annoyed on Saturday.  I watched during the day when they showed a lot of the track qualifying races.  Then that night they were to show the finals.  I was watching and I realized I had already seen the races earlier.  They repeated many of the ones from earlier in the day and then showed the finals.  They could have been showing other sports instead of replaying the same thing.  It was kind of upsetting because I could have been doing something else in the day. I don't mind Bob Costas but I liked it better on ABC when Jim McKay did it.

Amanda,  I could never read WH.  I've never watched  the old movie all the way through.  I just get parts.  I'd start and it would pull you in a bit like you said but there is no one to root for.  It's all so sad.  I like emotional drama but there was just too much in the movie and it was all so sad.

Sandi, I'm glad you haven't had another issue with your hand.  I'm sure it was scary to find the water damage. I hope it is not all as bad as it sounds and that you have luck finding some workers. My goodness you would think people would just be happy to have a job and not be holding out for the big jobs.  Lots of little jobs will pay the bills.  That is cool about your brother.  The Santa Cruz area is definately a place to live if you are an artist.  Congrats on Fresh Fictions anniversary.  I'll have to check out those contests!

DonnaH, I'm laughing about the other two seals because I couldn't find them either.  They must look a lot like the color of the rocks.  I'm glad your tree is hanging on.  Hopefully it will recover.  Sorry, but I have to admit you gave me a chuckle about your son in law.  It's really hard to find books in a series for Harlequin if you don't get them when they come out.  You might find them at Amazon or at a used bookstore site.  I used to order from one that had a lot of older books. It is called Hardtofindbooks.com.  They used to have a lot more used then they do now but they had this huge sale a few years ago to get rid of them.  Now they only have a few used.  There was another site that KathyD from Canada mentioned to me.  It was a US site but she would order and said it was not too expensive.  I will try to find my notebook to see if I have the name written down.

Since coming back from vacation, I finished THE LAST BOYFRIEND by Nora and I liked it.  It was just a very sweet romance.  Then I read the latest Julie Miller Harlequin Intrigue which was good.  Finally I read book 4 and I'm now on book 5 of the Sabrina Jeffries series.  This is the final books and I've really enjoyed them all.

Today was my dad's birthday and we are taking him out to eat tomorrow.  It is difficult to get him in and out of the car so I hope we can do it because if not we can't go.  I'll let you know what happens.

Margie :)
